How expensive is it to live in New South Wales? |
| It is estimated that you may need between $A12,000 - $A16,000 per year to live in New South Wales. This would cover accommodation, transport, food, entertainment, and clothing. Refer to www.studyinaustralia.gov.au for further information. |
How good does my English need to be? |
| We are fortunate to be able to offer an excellent English preparation called Transition Program / ESL. This class is very small, offering individual attention catering for people from elementary to intermediate level. |
When can I start? |
| Because our Transition Program / ESL is individualised then you can start at any time after the enrolment process is completed. |
Mainstream classes? |
| K – Year 11 – From Kindergarten to Year 11, It is best to start at the beginning of a new term. New terms in New South Wales commence as follows:
Term 1 – starts end of January
Term 2 – starts end of April
Term 3 – starts end of July
Term 4 - starts mid October
*you may not be able to be awarded a School Certificate if you start in Year 10.
Year 12 – we do not accept entry at the Year 12 level.

Can I study my home country language as a Higher School Certificate subject? |
| Most languages are available through the Saturday School of Community languages at no additional cost. |
Does the College arrange accommodation for me? |
| Yes! Accommodation is arranged or must be approved under the College’s Homestay Program for all ages unless the student is in the care of a parent or suitable relative, as defined by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship. Any student under the age of 18 has a welfare and accommodation requirement as a condition of their student visa.

What’s the weather like? |
| All campuses are located in coastal areas so the weather isn’t extreme in summer or winter. Mean temperature Summer = 28C Winter = 16C
